그동안 지속적으로 작품에 담아낸 주제는 “생명의 순환” 입니다. 이것은 넓게 보면 동양철학적인 측면에서 “윤회사상”과도 통할 것입니다. 하지만, 사후의 세상에 주목하는 것이 아니라, 지금 살고 있는 세상에서 만나는 또 다른 차원과 공존하는 “다차원의 세계”를 그려내고 있습니다.

마치 유년기와 성년기가 한데 어우러진 ‘어른동화’의 관점을 보여주려 합니다. 그래서 마음속에 담아놓았던 유년기의 소중한 추억들을 연상시키는 소재를 자주 등장시키곤 합니다. 결국, 미래에 대한 기대감과 꿈을 실상처럼 보여주고 싶은 마음이 그림에 담겼다고 볼 수 있겠습니다.

The central theme I have consistently explored in my work is “the cycle of life.” In a broader sense, this aligns with the concept of “reincarnation” found in Eastern philosophy. However, rather than focusing on the afterlife, my work depicts a “multidimensional world” that coexists with the present reality.

I aim to present a perspective similar to an “adult fairy tale,” where childhood and adulthood merge seamlessly. This is why I often incorporate elements that evoke cherished childhood memories. Ultimately, my work reflects a desire to bring dreams and hopes for the future to life as if they were real.

마음에 간직했던 미래에 대한 꿈의 이데아를 찾아 떠나는 노마드의 표현인 셈

It is an expression of a nomad setting out in search of the Idea of dreams for the future, cherished in the heart.
